Attila had a succesful international carreer  in a multinational environment  for over 15 years. In 2010 he made a courageous decision and joined the team of Bátor Tábor  to use his knowledge and experience for the good of the foundation.

His main task is to ensure the sustainable development and operation of the foundation. His aim is to set up long-term partnerships with corporations and international donors so that more and more children could become the part of the Bátor Tábor experinece.

Andrea Békési MD

Medical Director

 Andi is a Paediatrician, Haematologist, psychotherapist and health professional. With the help of volunteers, nurses and medical colleagues, she works to ensure that safe health services are available for the children at the camp. With the support of child recruitment colleagues she deals directly with Hungarian and foreign hospitals, where children arrive to us from.

Veronika Meilinger

Vera is the camper recruiter of the foundation. She is responsible for recruiting campers to attend camp sessions of Bátor Tábor. She deals directly with the hospitals and therapists through whom children can apply to camp. She receives the completed application forms and is the primary contact for the children and their families. Anyone can turn to her with questions in relation to the applications, travelling and other camper programmes. 

Eszter Loboda-Lencsés

 Eszter’s primary task is to make sure that in the summer the international oncology sessions have sufficient number of campers from abroad. Eszter is responsible for building up and maintaining a network of oncology centres in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, which send campers to our international sessions. Also, as part of her duties, Eszter deals with the applications and travel arrangements of children, and she organizes the international Relationship Manager’s Conference for oncologists from abroad.

Julianna Tóth

For Juliska the first encounter with Bátor Tábor was in 2009, when she became a program volunteer at the high ropes course. In May 2010 she joined the team as program director. She is the leader of the program team supervising the work of the camp director, the assistant camp directors and the volunteer coordinator. She is also responsible for elaborating and following up the safety and operation protocols of the camp sessions. She likes being at the campsite, and at the high ropes course.

Dóra Veres

 Dóri Veres first visited our camp in 2008 as a volunteer or cimbora helping around with the artisan programs. Since then she has tried herself out in several roles. She no longer works with us as a volunteer: in February she joined our Foundation as a full-time employee assisting us in program organization and implementation. As a Camp Leader she has been strongly involved in our various programs as well as in volunteer and camper recruitment. She is a great help in coordination! As a qualified teacher of handicapped children Dóri has always wanted to work with and among children. This explains her deep passion for her work. Apart from the usual work in coordination it makes her extremely happy being able to join campers at the programs.

Erna Megyeri

Erna is an assitant camp director responsible for ensuring that the campers take part in exciting programs and gain memorable experiences during the summer sessions and other camp programs. She is also involved in the training of volunteers.  Erna used to be a volunteer at Bátor Tábor in a number of different roles. 

Fruzsina Gellért

Fruzsi’s first encounter with Bator Tabor was in 2006 when she did volunteering for us. She has gathered countless experiences and has gone through many adventures with us since then to pursue her career as a deputy camp leader (!!) responsible for the well-being of and support to campers and volunteers. Between camps she provides us with invaluable assistance in preparation work and getting volunteers equipped for cooperation. 

 Vera Nagy

Vera is involved in elaborating and realizing the daytime and evening programs of the international sessions. Her task is to ensure that the Czech, Slovak and Polish campers of Bátor Tábor return home with life-changing experiences. She likes searching for funny pictures, cartoon characters, hooey rhymes, and non-verbal games  and camp dance is her favourite.  

Csili Juhász

Volunteer Coordinator

Juhász Csilla, called Csili in camps started to volunteer for Bátor Tábor in 2007. She has many years and sessions and lots of smiles and experience behind her. Since October 2010 she works as our volunteer coordinator. She manages the recruitment and selection process and organises exciting trainings for the cimboras so that they can fulfill their tasks at camp on a high level. She is at the service of volunteers with anything they need. If you apply to be a volunteer, you'll definitely meet her.

Ambrus Kiss

Ambrus's task is to keep in touch with the volunteers, and assist in their recruitment, selection, applications and training. He provides fast and efficient help for the volunteers - whatever their problem might be. Ambrus has been a volunteer at Bátor Tábor since 2007.

Kata handles all psychology issues that relate to camp; building a healthy working and camp environment for everyone.  She helps train the volunteers and ensures they are taken care of while volunteering during camp summer sessions.

 A carneval, a sports event, a theatrical performance or just an informal meeting - these all could be great opportunities for giving. If you agree, contact András! He is responsible for the 1% campaigns and the DM campaigns of Bátor Tábor. He is constantly looking for  the cooperation with communities which are open to support and thus becoming the part of the activities of Bátor Tábor. András communicates with the individual donors or potential donors: he edits newsletters, makes a lot of phone calls and says "thank you" often.

Kata Tóth

International Fundraiser

Kata coordinates the Central European activities of the foundation. She visits Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic quite often in order to raise funds for the international sessions, to  supervise the activities of the Polish, Slovak and the Czech Bátor Tábor foundations and the local communication activities  of the Foundation.

Kati is responsible for organizing charity events, like fine art auctions, contemporary art auctions, corporate family events, golf tournaments, watch auctions, theatre performances, etc. for our supporters.

Zsuzsanna Kun

 Zsuzsi, as a marketing person, provides the Press with news, organizes interviews, and keeps the webpage up-to-date. She coordinates the preparation of marketing communication tools related to the activities of Bátor Tábor. She has to supervise every logged material. She acts as a bridge between the colleagues and the graphic designer and printers. She has sorted through thousands of photos. What she likes the most is to be a Cimbora in the Family Camps of the foundation.

Mápó, as the devil of the high-ropes course, makes sure that all of the children challenge themselves to the best of their ability on the most exciting courses.  Besides working on the ropes course, he is also responsible for organizing and operating the external utilization of the high ropes course, making the ropes available for companies and other teams who can learn, have fun and experience exciting adventures while they support the children we serve.

 Zsófia Horváth

Zsófi coordinates the utilization of a prominent foreign donation which was offered for Bátor Tábor in order to develop the quality of the camps services. She supports her colleagues and she makes sure that the conditions of the utilization, that had been set by the donor, are fully complied with. She also seeks out new grant opportunities and prepares applications.

Edit ensures that the guests of Bátor Tábor campsite in Hatvan, receive the best possible service. She and her team of 9 are responsible for all the tiny details concerning campsite maintenance, catering, gardening, cleaning and new infrastructure. 

Eszter Hatvani

Eszter works as the administrator of the campground. Together with the facility manager, she maintains all aspects of the grounds, including the direction of maintenance and cleaning personnel.
