International Summer Sessions

Since July 2008, Czech, Polish, Slovak children have been welcomed to join the adventure at Bator Tabor. In the summer of 2008 and 2009 respectively 70 Czech, Polish and Slovak teens with oncological diseases arrived in Hungary, at Bátor Tábor campsite in Hatvan.  In 2010 and 2011 we organized two international sessions - one for kids and one fror teens diagnozed with cancer.  In 2011 we were able to host over a hundred children from Central Europe. The participation was free of charge for everyone.

The common language of this extraordinary multicultural cavalcade is Hungarian, so the communication is facilitated by volunteer interpreters.

The noise of laughter, adventurous programs and evenings filled with fun and campfires will be on your agenda for eight days. Simultaneously, about 60 young campers and the same number of volunteers (Cimboras) will be present in the sessions. As you will see, during the carefree days of the camp, countless friendships will be formed.
